Dear Worried,

No, it would not be acceptable because it would be hindering or blocking the life-giving aspects of the way both men and women's bodies were created by God.

I would seek out a faithful priest for counsel and ask if they are know of any Catholic doctors who are as faithful to their practice as they are to their faith.

That's the best advice I can suggest.
