The Church in question is the Church of England. Even though it's not a Catholic church, it means a lot to me. My Grandmother and Grandfather are buried there and it is historic to my area.

Also, my partner has not been baptized and is not religious. He does however welcome any further children we have being Catholic.

You need a dispensation to marry an non-baptized person, and another dispensation to marry in a non-Catholic church but it is routine.

Talk to your pastor.

You need a:

  • Dispensation to marry an unbaptized person, and
  • a permission (not a dispensation) to marry in a place other than a Catholic Church.

Your priest should be able to obtain these for the reasons you give.
