  • I mean no disrespect by this cliche, but wouldn't it make a great impact on the Earth and in churches everywhere if the Catholic Church were to put their money where their mouth is and canonize (make into Saints) every aborted fetus that was ever used to create a vaccine?

Sorry, it took a while to get back to you. I work at Walmart as a cashier and it has been very busy. My colleagues may have another view but here is my two cents:

The ends don't justify the means.

The ends: New vaccines that can heal people's diseases.

The means: Killing a living baby (fetus)

Incorrect.

When you receive a vaccine you are receiving a gift from a (killed/dead) child who had no choice in the matter of his life and his choice to be used for the creation of a future vaccine.

RE: Veterans of wars. First, many choose freely to serve in the military; others could have protested freely from serving due to reasons of conscience. They had that choice.

An aborted baby (fetus) has no choice or voice in the matter.

This is the big lie pushed by Democrats and the Democratic party.

Democrats are not pro-choice people.

  • Pro-Life people are the real pro-choice people.
  • Pro-Life people want the fetus in a mother's womb to be able to make future choices.
  • Pro-Abortion advocates are anti-choice.
    (They don't want the baby (fetus) in a mother's womb to make choices.)

What you are proposing is a false rationale for the acceptance of abortion. Something I would expect from Planned Parenthood.

In Catholic circles, we call this Moral Relativism which basically states, what is true, is what I believe is true, whether it agrees with (Christ and His Church), or not. Look it up.

Dear Brian,

You may be comparing the aborted babies used to test vaccines with the massacre of the Innocents, (Matthew 2:16–18) which is celebrated on December 28. The idea being that while both sets of babies were murdered, their deaths contributed to a greater good.

Many call the holy innocents martyrs, but I don't think the comparison to these aborted babies holds well.

  • The Innocents were killed instead of Christ. That's why they're remembered.
  • The cell lines of the innocents who have been used after abortion to test (and/or) develop vaccines are more remote to the potential good that might come of the vaccine. There's also the danger that making them heroes would give credence to justifying the horrible ongoing slaughter of abortion.

Those are my quick thoughts.
