Hi, guys —
I pray the Rosary often. I think the Hail Mary is one of the most beautiful prayers in our Catholic tradition. However, I am somewhat confused when I pray "the Glory Be":
"Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever will be forever “world without end” Amen.
- Why do we pray "world without end?"
- Are we not awaiting Jesus's return?

Dear Richard,
The English translation is somewhat confusing. A more literal translation would be, "unto ages of ages".
It means that God will always be glorified, i.e. in this age, and in the age(s) to come.
- Does this make more sense to you?
